ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The Undercut Christmas Contest is now officially CLOSED! Not as many member participated as I'd have liked, but we're a young community, eh? Next time, guys!

The winner will be announced sometime this week, so keep checking back.

PRIMER:

A long time a go on a server far, far away there existed a community by the name of Dead Element. But, as the law of entropy goes, all things become increasingly disorganized as they become more complicated. It so followed that DE had to be shut down - in the prime of its life - and its members scattered to the ends of the earth.

But fear not, for today is the birth of Ex-DE! Here has been created a haven for former Dead Element members on DA to frolick and bask in the screen radiation. A 'mad prop' goes out to Shade, who fathered DE and was its reluctant undertaker. Soon, all former DE members on DA will recieve a note from me, Danie, inviting you to join Ex-DE. Do it. I know where you live.

Tentatively, Ex-DE will offer its members the following:
1. Featured Deviation Favourites
2. Monthly Deviant Profile
3. Competitions (whoo!)
4. A Means to Keep in Touch With DE Peeps

Since the number (that I know of) of former DE members is rather small here on DA, look into inviting other individuals into the community. We're shooting for people that would have fit in and been well recieved at DE, I.E. sensible Goths (or sensible un-goth Goths). Tsk, denial...
